Feelmax is Back in Business!

Finally is Feelmax back in business and I have got new generation shoes! I’m going to give a review of all of the models I have in the near future. You are going to hear more about Feelmax Panka Leather, Feelmax Osma2 and Feelmax Kuuva2.

I have just packed they up and tested just a little bit

2012 04 10 095 12 1024x442 Feelmax is Back in Business!

As you can see in the picture: Osma2 is beautiful grey, Panka and Kuuva2 are black in color.

I tried all to my feet and first impression after couple of minutes of use was following:

Feelmax Osma2: Fits even better than previous model – and that promises good!

Feelmax Panka: Stich between leather and meshing felt little tight at first, but after a while I didn’t notice that at all – very good fit in my foot!

Feelmax Kuuva2: I like the new color better than previous brown – and this shoe also fits very good in my foot!

I’m going to use these shoes a while and give more detailed review in the near future. Keep on tuning!

Minimalistic shoes part 7: Vibram FiveFingers Bikila

Despite the negative writing on VFF Classic earlier, I have almost falling in love to my Vibram FiveFingers Bikila. VFF Bikila suits to my foot like a glove in the hand. My lovely wife dig it’s too (not mine, but her own pair of Bikilas)

But now back to my experience with VFF Bikila:

Comparing the press with Classic: No press at all – seam fits better, and the Bikila feels more like glove in my feet (Classic is like cabriolet in the rainy weather).

One good point to VFF is that shoe is washable and airdries pretty fast (washing in the evening and morning I can wear the shoe).

Bikila has been pretty good shoe to my training in those times when I’m not barefoot. It doesn’t inhibit a lot of the movements on my feet. Still it’s lacking flexibility downwards on toes (in Women Jaya LR, which my wife also has – have a pretty good flexibilty also “downwards” with toes).

Outdoorliving and spesially on the beach I prefer Bikila a lot. It doesn’t matter if you go to water or stay on land – the feeling is good. With swimming Bikila be little heavy – but not so much than “regular shoe”. And when you do water-activity you don’t feel that Bikila will go off your feet.

Pros:

  • Suitable
  • Washable
  • Trainable
  • “beachable”
  • fancy color
Cons:
  • Sweaty – need regular washing
  • Lack of groundfeeling
  • Too thick sole
  • Not enough flexible downwards from toes
  • fancy color (not suitable to everyone)

Google+ is growing!

gpluslogo Google+ is growing!

Google + is growing – Before end of the 2012 will Google+ be the second biggest social network in the USA – right behind Facebook, says analytic Michael Nardis. All this will happen sooner than waited.

Google+ will also take members from another social medias like Facebook, twitter etc… When people start to use Google+, they are using less time another social medias.

Google+ is growing really fast. Google+ opened doors to the people first on June this year and has already more than 25 million accounts!! I think this is thanks to Facebook – which came 2004. Now mostly people has knowledge what social media might be and it’s easier to try and use new platforms.

To get Google+ account, you need invitation. Every member in Google+ gets 150 invitations to share, when these are used, can you invite via email. If you don’t have Google+ account yet – please comment with your email address so I send one to you.

It’s too early to me say – what is the biggest difference with Google+ and Facebook – or which is better. Good information what is it  all about in Google+  - you can read on articles which Kimberly Castleberry writes on Google+, you can start from this find Google+ Cheat sheet, which you can  find here. Google+ is going to be next big – maybe bigger than we think today – I’m quite sure about that – and it’s going to be – for sure –  good competition to Facebook.

Minimalistic shoes part 6: Feelmax Kuusaa

In this part 6 of minimalistic shoes, I’m telling about  Feelmax Kuusaa.

16062011149 e1308210555351 Minimalistic shoes part 6: Feelmax Kuusaa

…Feelmax Kuusaa is more like slipper than a shoe and I have used it mostly as “casual” occasions than  in training – It is really easy to spark my foot in and go – and when I’m using it longer time I put the heel up.

It has also the newer 1.1 mm Contitech outersole – very durable – and flexible. Over part is «mesh» which would believe to breath good, but I feel really fast sweaty with Feelmax Kuusaa – I mostly not use socks on my feet, while I’m using Feelmax Kuusaa.

Feelmax Kuusaa  has a «knob» with rubber band – which you can make shoe to fit better – I don’t personally use this rubber band and “knob” – and I feel it’s a little on way, while I’m training.

… The knob is on way – especially when sitting on my ankle… and pressing my foot.

Shoe is really light – easy to put on and take off… you can actually put it in your pocket and wear it when you are not allowed to be barefoot.

16062011155 e1308211309479 Minimalistic shoes part 6: Feelmax KuusaaPros:

  • light
  • durable
  • relatively good ground feeling
  • easy to put on and take off
  • casual – can use the places where is not allowed to be barefoot
  • easy to carry with

Cons:

  • sweaty – I wash it in the machine.
  • The knob is on way while training

The Dog is in the house and other news…

The Dog is in the house  – little Clumber Spaniel came to us one week ago. We picked up her – Meliss, from Sweden – Sugar Loaf kennel -  (10 hours driving – one way) – and now we have “4th child” in the house.

She is one of the reason, why I have not been online so much lately – and I feel that’s only good, because average people use all too much time with screen – sitting and being chair-shaped-people.

The other reason is: house-painting. Yes, it’s time to change color – and get fresh outlook to our house. I thought first to outsource the painting project, but now have we decided to do it our-self  – with good help from friends of us.

Painting the house which we have is a big project – and we are using a lot of hours to it…washing, scraping, painting… when I have worked alone I have listened James Schramko’s and Tim Reid’s fabulous podcast “Freedom Ocean”… James is internet marketer who has earned millions of dollars from internet marketing – and Tim has a millions of questions! Fantastic podcast to learn about internet marketing. These two guys from Down-Under keep good company with me while I’m painting.

When I’m multi-tasking with painting and “Freedom Ocean” the time flies by…

If there has been and will be a  little quiet period here in this site -  you know why.
